Noel Gallagher self-criticizing about Masterplan in an interview:

Masterplan. Biggest regret I ever have out of any of the tunes, of just being a headstrong fuckwit saying ‘no it’s a B side, it was written as a B side and a B side it should stay.’
It’s one of my favorite of my songs ‘cause there are certain songs for me that are great but then there’s the chosen few that you really fucking nail it. The words, the melody, the structure, everything, all the playing’s brilliant. And that’s one of them.

Sadly I don’t understand what Liam says to him right before Noel calls himself an idiot. Maybe someone can help?

Interviewer: [The songs] They are yours. But are you making them yours even more?

Noel: Eh.. I.. yeah.. Well, I guess that cause I’m the completely different singer than Liam is, I mean.. When I’m singing those songs I know what those words mean to me and I can deliver them.. I wouldn’t say better, but I can deliver them in the way that they were written, so.. I know what Wonderwall Is about. Even if it’s about nothing, i know what kind of nothing it’s about, you know.

Noel Gallagher recording his new second solo album in London (Abbey Road—possibly).

Both taken in March last month.

I’ll tell yer what, I’ve been taking photos since I was 12 and I have obviously taken a lot - but I am totally made up with this one [in black and white]." — Brian Cannon

"Sit on me knee," says Liam, as Noel perches on a flight case.

"You’re the puppet," comes the response. "You sit on my fucking knee."
